Rapid Route Logistics was founded in 2010 in Chicago by Elias Thorne, a former military logistics officer, and tech entrepreneur Sarah Jenkins. It began with three leased vans and a mission to bring precision, transparency, and reliability to courier logistics. Early on, the company focused on white-glove and temperature-sensitive deliveries, securing a medical supply contract in 2012.
Between 2015 and 2018, Rapid Route invested in technology—launching its Agile Routing Engine, opening hubs in Dallas and Atlanta, and introducing a Client Command Center for real-time supply-chain visibility. During 2019–2022, it adapted to global disruption by expanding into warehousing, fulfillment, and 3PL services.
Today, Rapid Route Logistics operates 500+ vehicles, three major hubs, and partnerships in 40 countries, employing over 1,200 specialists with a 99.4% on-time delivery rate. It is now investing in green fleets and AI-driven predictive logistics while maintaining its founding promise: treating every delivery as a commitment.
